Gianfranco FERRE'
EYEWEAR COLLECTION MIDO 2010
This seasons styles are sophisticated, with modern evolution on the technical front: these are the leading themes of the new Gianfranco Ferré eyewear collection, amid a vintage flair.
Multiple shades of blue, ruby red and burgundy, black and white define the palette for the acetate frames with multilayer textures, pearly sheens and see-through effects adding to the appeal.
By contrast, bronze, pale gold and palladium hues – with shiny or matt finish – accentuate the lightness and luminosity of the metal frames.
The Signature Pin, iconic emblem of the Gianfranco Ferré style, debuts unmistakably in the form of a precious decor-hinge on several models.
For men, lines have a modern high-tech impact, clean and bold, both in the acetate wrap-arounds and in the milled metal-rims with distinctive double bridge.
The design is geometric, rectangular, with sharp angles, or, in alternative, smooth round edges at the juncture between front and arm.
Lastly, a bimaterial mix marks the new vision of the frames: as in acetate arms with matt-finish metal front, and the wide thin arm with smart metal detailing at the tips.
